December's Flower

Snow covered lands in North America during this month is a site to behold. Sadly no flower blooms? But alas, the Paper White does. A favorite bulb to have in your home.(Narcissus,named for the Greek god.) Narcissus dodged affection from others and marriage,only to fall in love with himself! The flower is a daffodil and has a much less selfish meaning. Blooms appear any time from December to early spring. Sweet fragrance and lovely. They inspire new beginnings, hope, and wealth.
